On a Thursday afternoon in 2005, Jim (Big Jim) Ward sat down at a picnic table in Fairmont Park, Riverside, CA, with a group of homeless people, and offered to share his boxes of pizzas as well as his testimony of God's love.   Since then, every Thursday, rain or shine, up to 100 homeless neighbors are fed, body and soul, fresh meals and spiritual encouragement.

     This effort became Manna Ministries, and together with Journey Church has evolved into a multi-faceted service to God and the homeless of Riverside, coordinating with many other churches, volunteer organizations, and the City Of Riverside.
