In 2005 God put upon "Big Jim" Ward's heart to visit Fairmount Park in Riverside California, and share the gospel with the homeless population there.  Accompanied by his 11-year old daughter, Golda--and armed with three pizzas and a powerful witness--Jim sat down at a picnic table where a few homeless folk had gathered on a Thursday evening.  He offered to share the pizza with them as long as he could also share God's word.
Now every Thursday evening, a crowd of 50-100 people congregate under the trees of Fairmount Park to hear the Word and receive a fresh hot meal through Manna Ministries, a product of Big Jim's heart and God's love.
